the story
For years, I carried many roles, mom, nurse, educator, each demanding my full attention. But beneath the surface, my heart was quietly on a journey of faith, growing day by day. I embraced the SOAR Daily path: seeking God, obeying His Word, affirming His promises, and renewing my spirit. This journey isn’t always easy. It asks for courage, patience, and a willingness to live out faith, not just speak it.
In October 2025, a seemingly ordinary request became a divine appointment. I stepped in to cover for a faculty member at a nursing home, and there I met a young man who changed everything. He was about the same age as my children, fragile, struggling, yet fighting to hold on. Every day, I found myself silently praying for him, “Lord, heal him. Give him peace. If it’s Your will, keep him here with us.”
Watching him slowly improve was like witnessing a miracle unfold before my eyes. But even after my clinical rotation ended, my heart remained tied to him. I couldn’t shake the question echoing in my soul: Why was I there? Why did God place me in that moment, in that place?
The students saw my devotion and affection for this young man. One of them, touched by the bond, called him “my adopted son.” With permission, we visited him afterward. One student brought a blanket, a simple gesture, but to him, it was a source of comfort and joy. In that moment, I realized faith is felt most powerfully when it is shown through acts of kindness and love.
That day, a seed was planted deep within me.
Fast forward to January 6th, 2026, that seed blossomed into a calling, a vision to create something far greater than a moment. A movement of faith made tangible; a gift meant to keep giving. So, we created The Gift That Keeps Giving campaign and the Fruit of the Spirit and scriptures bracelets. These bracelets are more than an accessory, it’s a daily reminder of the fruits God cultivates within us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Each bracelet carries a message and a mission.
100% of the proceeds go directly to supporting individuals at nursing home faculty in need, those who, like the young man, need hope, healing, and the tangible love of Christ. This campaign isn’t just about giving, it’s about becoming. Becoming the hands and feet of God’s love in a world that desperately needs it. It’s about living faith with intention, boldly and beautifully, every single day.
